A timeless land of ancient cultural traditions and a striking environmental diversity. The first church in North America was constructed in 1598 thirty miles West of Santa Fe. In the 1820's the Santa Fe Trail from Missouri to Santa Fe was opened and brought new lifestyles and money to New Mexico. In the 188o's the railway came and the rest is history.
